VitaFusion UltraSonophoresis

Delivering intense transdermal delivery of active ingredients to effectively treat skin conditions. This may be used as an adjunct treatment with peels, skin workout treatments or Ultra Skin Resurfacing: Microdermabrasion.

UltraSonophoresis application causes small spaces to open between the skin cells that result in an increased penetration of ingredients applied to the skin under the ultrasound. Disruption of the lipid barrier by the ultrasonic vibration also helps in the transdermal delivery.

How does UltraSonophoresis work? 

• Increases penetration of ingredients up to several thousand fold
• Application of vitamins will lighten abnormal skin discolouration, plump up the dermal layer of the skin with new collagen and ground substance, and hydrate the skin.
• Little pockets or bubbles form from within the intercellular lipids from the rapid sound waves.
• These are filled with product before they quickly close again
• With each pass over the skin the next wave arrives pushing this bubble deeper into the skin layers.
• With each subsequent pass over the skin more spaces form allowing the skin to fill with active ingredients.
